I got a call from someone saying they were with Severn Trent Water, talking about renewing some plumbing and sewerage cover. I told them I wasn’t signed up for that at all. Instead of saying sorry or anything, they just cut me off. So, I ended up blocking the number.

I had the exact same experience as the person above, where they tried to get me to agree to a contract charging £11.00. Clearly just some dodgy people out to scam money from folks - watch out for these con artists!

Got a call saying it was from Wessex Water about some Plumbing Cover supposedly active for the last three years - which we never signed up to. I told them flat out there’s no policy and that I was going to cancel if it existed. They kept going but I said I’m not interested and ended the call. Total scam, don’t fall for it!
