I got a call from Royal Sussex County Hospital but they didnt leave a voicemail or any details. When I tried ringing them back, the switchboard had no clue who had called me and ended the call. Later on, I got a notification saying I had an appointment booked. Strange situation!

Got a call from 01273696955 but missed it and they didn’t leave a voicemail. I checked the number on Who Called Me and it said it was connected to the hospital's cardiology dept. Later found out it was actually the general hospital switchboard ringing about a neurology appointment to check my epilepsy meds. Bit of a relief!

I had a couple of calls come through yesterday, on the 4th of November, 2024, but each time I picked up, they hung up instantly. I can only assume it was a dodgy scammer on the other end.

It definitely raises the eyebrows when they don’t bother leaving a message.
I’ll keep an ear out to see if they try their luck again... and if they choose to be silent once more, I won’t hesitate to block their number.

I got a call right at 3.30pm on Thursday 3rd August, which funny enough is the exact time Greatest Hits Radio does their cash giveaway - yesterday they gave out £104,000! (Anyone who listens will know what I mean). So, I picked up the phone and shouted “MAKE ME A WINNER” but there was no reply. After that, I decided to check who it was, and like a few folks mentioned here, it turns out the call was from Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton. If anyone’s behind these calls, please try not to ring people at 3.30pm - almost gave me a heart attack!

brighton and sussex university hospitals (bsuh) is a teaching hospital with two primary locations: royal sussex county hospital located in brighton and the princess royal hospital over in haywards heath. the brighton site also houses the sussex eye hospital along with the royal alexandra children’s hospital. it is known as the main trauma centre for the area too.
