Got another one who just kept quiet the whole time, total waste of time.

I got a call from them on the 23rd, and they claimed to be from D&G, thinking I was Mrs X. When I told them I wasn’t, they mentioned an address that Mrs X lived at about ten years back. Seems like they’re just checking out ancient phone books or something.

Got a call saying my washing machine warranty was about to expire. Totally felt like a scam to me.

About ten minutes earlier, I got a call regarding some insurance renewal from D&G for a washing machine we don’t even own. The guy was pretty pushy, telling me to decide straight away if I wanted to cover one or three years, and that “Head Office” would ring me back soon with payment info. Definitely seemed like a dodgy scam to me.

Got a call 23rd December around 10.32 in the morning but didn’t pick up, ended up blocking the number. It’s actually the second time this week the phone’s been rung by someone from a 01273 Brighton area code. The first was on 21st December from 01273 655104.

When I answered, I asked if I could assist him instead, since the person he was looking for was out. He mentioned something about discussing warranties for home appliances. I swiftly told him not to waste his time on that! The line's now blocked.
