I told the caller from Life Funeral Plans straight away to stop ringing me once I mentioned my number is on the TPS list, plus I warned them I'd be making a complaint. They hung up pretty quick after that.

This number rang me but I chose not to pick up. I usually just glance at the caller ID, pick up the phone quickly then put it down straight away to stop any unwanted calls. Like others, the moment I pick up the phone, the call just ends right away. It baffles me why we all have to deal with this nonsense. Apparently, the calls are meant to come from Brighton. But if that’s not true, shouldn't it be simple to shut down the company behind these calls? I wonder if Brexit will change anything about this? Fingers crossed it might! Some bloke kept ringing and asking straight for me by name. I didn’t say if he’d got the right person, just asked who he was. After a bit, he said he was from some domestic appliance company or something. It’s not true though. Pretty sure he’s a scammer, since he’s called me before pretending to be someone else entirely.

This number keeps ringing me up every day at about 9.30 in the morning. Usually, they start by trying to get me to renew insurance for my washing machine. When I tell them I don't own one, they quickly switch to offering insurance for something else, usually a TV. Sometimes though, they just stay quiet on the line and you hear them say something like "...and goodbye" before hanging up.
