When I tried calling it back, all I got was music playing, nothing else - no message or telling me I’m on hold or anything like that. Feels like a scam to me, maybe they’re charging tons for people who call back hoping to talk to someone but end up stuck listening to music. I ended the call right away since there was no info or explanation.

Just got a call on my home phone, someone asked for me by name and mentioned my washing machine warranty had ended. When I asked when, they said it expired today. I told them right away that sounded like a scam, then they just hung up. Funny enough, I haven’t had a washing machine in ages. This isn’t the first time they’ve called either, I blocked the number before but seems like they’re trying again.

some bloke said he was with home service about my appliances. i told him i was about to leave for work, which was true, and he was quite nice, even wished me a good day before ending the call. still, i’m not convinced these calls are legit.
