I've just gotten another call from this number, I'm pretty sure it's a scam, I remember seeing this number pop up before.

A bloke with a very English accent called me up saying my washing machine insurance had expired. I mentioned I’ve got two washers and asked which one he meant. He replied it was the Bosch. The thing is, I only own one washing machine, and it definitely isn’t a Bosch.

Then i got in touch with Domestic and General to check, and they knew about that number and said they were trying to stop those calls. They told me to just hang up next time and not share any details as it’s a scam.

When asked to say who they were and where they were calling from, the caller kept saying his name, which sounded like “usmain bubba” or something like that. I asked a few times what company he was with, but he wouldn’t say. I told him I was ending the call because I’m on the TPS and shouldn’t be getting these kinds of calls. He sounded quite pushy when I wanted to know the company name. Definitely felt like a scam to me.
