I received a rather dodgy call claiming to be about my purported Amazon account. They mentioned some sort of purchase linked to an address in the London vicinity. The person on the other end seemed to have an accent that wasn't local, and to add to the discomfort, the line was absolutely dreadful. Honestly, it wasn't long before they abruptly ended the call!

Received a dodgy call concerning an Amazon voucher purchase. They abruptly ended the conversation when I questioned, "How can I be sure you're actually from Amazon?"

I had a rather peculiar phone call where the caller claimed to be from Sky, insisting they needed remote access to my computer to investigate an internet issue. When I requested some form of proof that they were indeed from Sky, I was put through to another individual. I then made a request for a confirmation email from Sky, but so far, I've heard nothing back. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

A rather dubious caller contacted me, asserting that a gift card had been ordered through my Amazon account - likely without my consent, I suspect. She insisted she required further details from me to go ahead and nullify this order. However, her persistence waned when I pressed her for specifics regarding the information she possessed about me. Quite telling, I must say!
