Got a call from 01273030656 today, some bloke wanted to talk to my husband about fixing our washing machine. I told him we didn't have any issues with it and he just ended the call straight away!! Felt really dodgy to me, probably some kind of scammer.

Got a ring from this number the other day asking if I wanted to renew the warranty on my LG washing machine. I had to tell them there’s no way, I’ve never owned an LG washer in my life! A few months back, someone else called about renewing a Hotpoint washer warranty, which I don’t have either - I actually said I had an LG then to get them off the phone. Seems like they’re keeping notes and recycling info for later calls. Strange how they manage to keep track of all that!

They called saying they worked for the company that sold me my washer and wanted to extend the warranty. I just hung up straight away.

This number's rung me a few times recently. I usually just leave it if I don’t know who it is. Pretty sure they’ve got a different number too - 01273741833 - because I can’t think why anyone from Brighton would be reaching out to me. Both of them are blocked on my phone now.
