They kept threatening to cut off my supply and disconnect the meter, saying there was nothing I could do to stop it. When I asked them to send an email instead, they got even more irate and insisted they’d go ahead with the disconnection anyway. They said they didn’t care about how it would affect my business and that since National Grid owned the meters, they could do whatever they wanted. They mentioned they keep getting reports about calls from numbers beginning with 0126, and warned me never to let anyone into your property claiming to be them or to share any details about your bills or usage.
