I reckon they might be using landlines too to trick folks into giving away cash. Got one of these annoying callers that just kept ringing, but luckily I managed to block it with the settings on my mobile. I've also noted down the number and how often they call. Honestly, telecom companies should really be blocking these scam numbers for their customers. It’s sad to see these scammers getting craftier and more relentless, especially as Christmas approaches - they really don’t give up easily.
