My phone went off and when I picked it up, I was met with a pre-recorded voice issuing a dire warning. It claimed that I had to act right away, or my National Insurance number would be revoked! I was then advised to get in touch with one of their so-called "investigators" - which I smartly ignored. Clearly, this is nothing more than a dodgy scam.

Felt suspicious about this call. A bloke named John rang me saying he was with Virgin Media and had a 30% discount deal. He asked how much I was paying, and I told him he should already have that info. Then he asked if I had an idea, but I said no. He wanted to call me again later, said he wasn’t trying to change anything, just wanted to offer a discount but needed to know my current charges. I politely said no thanks, especially since I only signed up a month ago with some good discounts already.

I didn’t pick up, I actually searched the number on this site while it was still ringing, happy I didn’t answer now. They didn’t leave any voicemail, checked here and it seems to be a scam call. No idea why someone from Alloa Scotland would ring me out of the blue, so I’ve blocked the number. Brilliant site, feels good to know I don’t have to stress if it was something urgent or not.

I picked up the phone when they called, and they introduced themselves as representatives from Carphone Warehouse. However, they were incredibly aggressive in their approach. I made it clear several times that I had no interest in entering into any contract with them, but their persistence was off-putting. Ultimately, I had no choice but to terminate the conversation by hanging up. I reckon it’s safe to assume this might be a dodgy number. If they were genuinely from Carphone Warehouse, their contact details would surely be publicly available. I've now added them to my block list!

I've been inundated with calls from this number lately. Initially, the callers were quite courteous, but they completely ignore me whenever I pose a question or seek information about their company. It’s become so tiresome that I've decided to install an application on my phone that screens all incoming calls, texts, and voicemails, effectively blocking any unwanted or fraudulent communications. I strongly recommend that everyone consider finding a similar app to shield themselves from these irritating calls.

I could have sworn I heard her mention something about being on the line from "Fidel Castro." She claimed it was in regard to my "interest in the stock market." Next, she quizzed me about my past activities in trading or investing. Honestly, I couldn’t take it anymore and ended the call.
