Got constant calls from Alloa, lady with an Indian accent claiming to be Virgin Media saying there's a special discount. I told her I dont have an account with them but she keeps ringing anyway. Seems like the number changes slightly every time, like ending in .035, .037, .034 - at least once a day. Definite phishing attempt.

Got a call from Alloa, some lady with an Indian accent claiming to be Virgin Media. She said there's a discount deal but when I said I don't have an account with them she kept going. I get calls from this number almost daily, but the last digit changes every time like .035, .037, .034 and so on. Definitely feels like a phishing scam.

Somebody said they was from 3, offering me a 40% cut on my bill. They asked for my memorable word, i said it was Rupert (which it’s not) and they said it worked fine..yeah right, no way!

They were harping on about offering me a superior deal, which I found rather suspicious given that I'm currently sorting out a dispute with Virgin. I received a call from a lady with an accent that sounded Asian, claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse. She was probing about my current phone and started suggesting some rather inexpensive alternatives. I sensed something wasn’t right, so I refrained from sharing any information about my device and decided to block the number before she had the chance to request any banking details. Clearly, it was a scam.

This bloke claimed he was from my "phone provider" and asked for my full name, address, and bank details to "check Data Protection," haha! I replied, "Give me a sec, I’ll fetch them for you," then just left the phone on the table. He stayed on the line for about 15 minutes, repeatedly saying "hello? hello?" which was so funny, before finally hanging up. Properly enjoyed messing about and wasting this scammer’s time.

This guy claimed he was calling from Phone House at first, then suddenly talked about DPD parcels. He had no idea who I was, said he was in London but the call was coming from a Scottish number, and the biz he said he worked for is actually in Edinburgh. The moment I brought up some common scam tricks, he just ended the call.
