Got a call from someone who said they needed to discuss my Vodafone bill, but I don't even have an account with them. Very strange!

At about 3.43pm on 19 June 2019 I got a call from a woman with a strong accent, said she was from the visa fraud dept. She claimed there was a suspicious £600 transaction on my account but didn't use my name or any personal info. She tried to get me to go online so she could stop the payment. Felt fishy straight away, so I asked her for the account name - then the call just cut off. I reported it to Action Fraud through Crime Stoppers. Proper scammers!

Honestly felt a bit suspicious right from the start but I picked up anyway. The call ended really quick. No doubt it was some kind of scam.
