Someone rang me claiming to be from a firm named Crown, and they already knew my name and where I live. She said they were checking on insulation efficiency. When I asked what exactly that meant, she said they do glass tests. I told her the glass is barely a year old, so it should be fine. Then I asked where they got my number from, but she gave me a company name I’d never heard of before. I’ve since blocked the number.
