I got a call from a lovely woman claiming to be from Crown. She mentioned they have operatives nearby and asked if I wanted to set up a time to inspect my windows for insulation. I told her I'm actually moving soon, so it wouldn't really make sense to do it now. She understood straight away and said she'd make a note not to ring me in the future. She was really friendly and didn’t pressure me one bit!

I received an unexpected phone call from someone purporting to be with "Crown Energy," claiming they wanted to do a check on my home's electricity. What struck me as rather odd was that this unsolicited caller had my complete name and address readily at hand.

Someone rang me about the gas pipes at my place, they'd already got my exact address and then asked whether I had recently installed any new or secure windows - I just ended the call straight away.

I got a call from a woman claiming to be from Crown, checking up on the electricity at my place. She already had my address, which felt a bit off. I didn’t really get why they’d need to come inside my home. I told her no thanks and ended the call. It all seemed a bit dodgy, so I’m just going to block the number now.
