some bloke from africa kept ringing me up saying there was a problem with my laptop, and when i told him he was just having a laugh, he started shouting all sorts! then when i tried calling bt for help, they just stuck me on hold for ages. honestly, i'm more ticked off at bt for not sorting it out quicker than the scammer himself!

I got a call from so called 'technical support' people. I kept saying hello coz I could hear them clearly but no answer. Then suddenly they told me to f*** off! Such rude behaviour.

Got a ring today from 01257621682, claiming to be BT. The typical nonsense about my computer being infected came up. The caller’s English was really poor, and when I threw some tricky questions their way (I work in IT), they couldn’t respond. They also refused to provide a callback number, which was suspicious. Watch out - they’re likely trying to trick you into downloading software that’ll probably infect your device with a virus. Stay safe!

I received a phone call from a woman who claimed to be from BT. She inquired if I was experiencing any issues with my internet connection. When I replied that everything was working perfectly fine, she simply said "Alright" and hung up! Quite an odd encounter, if you ask me!

Got a call from a lady with an Indian accent claiming to be from TalkTalk, saying there were issues with my router. Totally fake, just some scammer trying to grab my personal details. I ignored and blocked the number straight away!
