I was out and noticed they called me about three times from a number I didn’t recognise. Feels like it might be some sort of scam call.

They keep ringing me up saying they’re from TalkTalk. Why is it that all these con artists choose the same company to pretend to represent? I can’t remember anyone ever pretending to be from Sky before. Could this be connected to the TalkTalk breach from last year or something?

I received a call claiming to be from the Windows helpdesk, and they assured me there would be no charges or hidden fees. I'm concerned that others might fall for this. When I tried calling the number back, it turned out to be unrecognised, which is quite alarming. The chap on the line had a strong foreign accent. Thankfully, I wasn’t fooled, but it’s definitely a scam to watch out for!

Got a couple of calls on my landline from this number just minutes apart but didn’t pick up either time. Reading through other folks’ experiences here, I’m thinking of reaching out to TalkTalk to see if they can investigate this number and maybe block it on their end - I’m already a TalkTalk user and have blocked as many numbers as the system lets me.

I got a call from some bloke with an accent, said he was from W or something, then just ended the call. Seems dodgy to me, looks like a scam. Lucky I didn't get caught up in it!

Had a call from someone saying they were from TalkTalk about issues with my router. Then, they tried getting me to install TeamViewer. Seriously, don't fall for it and don’t follow any instructions they give. It seems really dodgy!

This morning has seen me get rung up three times already. I reckon if they call again, I’ll just blow my dog’s whistle right into the phone. It was a woman on the other end, sounded like she was working from one of those call centres.

Just got a call from this number a moment ago. The line sounded like a hectic call centre, loads of background noise. The person only kept saying "hello" over and over before abruptly hanging up. I’m pretty sure it’s a scam, maybe folks pretending to be from TalkTalk trying to convince me I have a virus or something dodgy like that.
