On 25/11/16, I got a call from 01257621991 claiming to be from BT, saying there was a problem with my computer and he could fix it. Since I’m not a BT customer, I figured it was a scam straight away. I told the man I didn’t have the computer password because my granddaughter uses it and she wouldn’t share it. He asked to talk to her, but I said she was at school. He then wanted to know her age, and I told him she’s 12. After hearing that, he said he wasn’t allowed to speak to her as she was underage. He was quite polite, wished me a nice day, and hung up.

I got a call from this number claiming to be from BT's London branch about my internet. But when I started asking them a few questions, the guy suddenly started swearing. Pretty clear to me that it was a scam.

i reckon this was a dodgy call. they rang me about my internet and started going on about how bt is the main internet provider here. i told them if they're really from bt, they should know who my internet supplier is. they replied with virgin media. i told them that's wrong, i don’t use virgin media and then I just ended the call. honestly, virgin media isn’t even available in my neighbourhood. total con artists.
