Today, I received an unexpected call from an unknown number-one I’ve never shared with anyone. It struck me as rather peculiar, especially since it was the same number I had seen before. When I picked up, a voice on the other end inquired if I was someone by a specific name, stating, "This is CRS. If your name is **** ***, press 1; if not, press 2." I promptly ended the call. If anyone rings you up asking for personal details like that, I highly advise cutting them off, not engaging further, and blocking their number at once. Speaking of bailiffs, beware, as there are some very unscrupulous individuals out there who purchase questionable debts, often ones that are contested. It’s always best to avoid answering your door to unfamiliar faces, particularly if you're contending with either legitimate or shady bailiffs. They’re merely another group of crooks taking advantage of vulnerable folks. And just to clarify-I’m debt-free!
