11 yearsCARS // Financial recovery agencyCARS12 yearsToday I got a call from them on a number that’s private and I’ve never shared. Might be a total fluke, but it was definitely the same number. When I picked up, they asked if I was a certain person, saying something like, “This is CRS, if you’re **** ***, press 1, if not, press 2.” I just hung up straight away. Honestly, if anyone rings up and starts asking if you’re someone else, just don’t say anything and hang up, then block the number. About bailiffs, some of them are really suspicious - buying up questionable debts that are often disputed. If you ever get any visits, whether from real or fake bailiffs, best not to open the door unless you know them. They’re just a bunch of scoundrels targeting vulnerable folks. Funnily enough, I don’t owe any money at all.12 yearsIf this isn’t a proper business, how come they get away with bothering folks for their private info? What’s the law going to do about it? I’m retired and nearly fell for it, almost handing over my details. They still won’t leave me alone.12 yearsPlease stop ringing me, I’m not gonna pick up.12 yearsI keep getting calls from this number, they want my personal info but when i ask what it's about or who they are, they just say they can't tell me. They said something about sending a letter soon. They claim to be a debt collection agency, but i don’t owe anything to anyone.12 yearsThey kept requesting stuff like my date of birth and postcode, but when I asked why, they just said it was private and wouldn’t explain. I told them to piss off more than once. They also said they’d send me something in the post, but here I am, two months later, no letter and the calls haven’t stopped!13 yearsI keep getting calls from numbers like this one, no idea who they are. It’s getting really annoying, happens almost daily. Someone please put a stop to these calls!13 yearsI saw a missed call from that number and when I checked, there was a voicemail asking me to ring back with some reference. For some reason, as soon as I called them back, I was really quick to share my personal details without properly asking who they were first. Now I’m worried I might have given my info to scammers or something. Fingers crossed it’s nothing dodgy!13 yearsIf someone calls you but won’t say who they are, that’s really dodgy and might even be against the law. Just tell them to leave you alone, coz if they try to scare you, they’ve got no power over you. Don’t hesitate to ring the cops if things get threatening.13 yearsSo, this number belongs to a company that deals with debt collection.
