We received a text from this number urging us to get in touch with David Shaw, citing a reference number. Last year we signed up for a complimentary trial with Love Film and, as the trial wrapped up, we swapped out our debit card details. Despite this, they kept sending us emails requesting our new card info, which we had no intention of providing since we weren’t keen on continuing after the trial. I’m thinking of reaching out to Love Film directly instead of engaging with what seems like a rather questionable debt collection agency.

We've also had a message from this Mr Shaw chap, what a numpty! Our situation appears to stem from that Auto Trader Insurance 'auto-renewal policy’. The thing is, we cancelled it before it was due to renew, yet somehow these people still managed to wrangle some cash from us. Our bank sorted it out and refunded us, but then we received a couple of letters from Auto Trader demanding £35, followed by this moron texting us about £28. It's worth noting we’re in the middle of a recession, so they can expect neither texts nor cash from us! Cheers and a jolly festive season to all you lovely people leaving comments!

Today, we received a text message from a number that was withheld. They urged us to call them back on 01256306796, mentioning a specific reference. We did attempt to return the call, but there was no answer, so we thought it prudent to investigate further online. Frankly, it’s quite odd to receive such a message, and we’re left scratching our heads about who these individuals might be.

Blighter! The best way forward is to drop them a line (if you're able to, of course) and let them know that they don't have any implicit right to come onto your land. Legally speaking, under common law-not just the statutory mumbo-jumbo-these individuals are obliged to uphold this rule. Should they be so bold as to set foot on your premises (including any bit of it, like your front path, assuming you're not squatting in a cardboard box), all you need to do is give a shout to a constable (not just any officer-mind you, a constable carries a warrant card) who can then step in to detain and potentially arrest those trespassers.

We've also received a text from someone named David Shaw. We have no intentions of calling them back. If they genuinely wish to reach us, they'd be better off giving us a ring instead of sending such a sketchy message!

I received a text message from someone named David Shaw. It mentioned that we were past customers of Love Film. We're assuming it’s in response to Love Film, or something similar.

We received a call from the same number, which turned out to belong to a chap named David Shaw. They also gave us a reference number. We plan to give them a bell this evening. Fingers crossed for a good outcome!

Received a text from this number regarding a supposed debt owed to Tiscali. It's worth mentioning that I've received two letters from Tiscali confirming that we aren't in the least bit indebted to them! Despite that, these individuals have still resorted to involving a debt collection agency. I reckon it’s wise to respond to the text, as ignoring it could lead to serious complications down the line. I've got their address and plan to send them copies of the letters from Tiscali to set the record straight.

We received a rather suspicious text urging us to get in touch with a David Shaw. It certainly feels like an effort to instill fear among individuals. Additionally, we were sent some correspondence from Love Film, suggesting that we owe them £30. To be honest, I don’t recall ever signing up for their service. Following your recommendation, I’ll be addressing this matter directly with Love Film. Thanks for your help!

When it comes to CARS, it seems there could be a late payment linked to Lovefilm. Allegedly, we owe them a tenner, yet I’ve never received a call from Lovefilm chasing us for the cash. I reckon I’ll reach out to Lovefilm before anything else. Hope this assists anyone in a similar boat! :)

Received a text from this number regarding a supposed debt to Tiscali. Mind you, I’ve actually received two letters from Tiscali affirming that we owe them zilch! Nevertheless, these folks have gone ahead and roped in a debt collection agency! It might be wise to respond to that text, as ignoring it could lead to trouble down the line. I've got their address and plan to send them copies of the Tiscali correspondence.

It's a right bother, isn't it? My partner has a LoveFilm subscription, and they seem to think it’s perfectly acceptable to ring us every single day, despite the fact that we’ve cancelled and returned everything. We’ve told them repeatedly that he’s at work, yet they persist in calling at the same time every day. They’re going on about an astounding sum of £10! It’s absolutely daft! We’ve received a mountain of letters and countless phone calls, but it’s all gone to waste. We've got Caller ID on our landline, and now that we know who's on the other end, we won’t be answering their calls anymore.

I received a rather bothersome call from a dubious debt recovery agency-C. A. R. S. to be exact. They’ve been bombarding individuals with messages urging them to return their call at 01256306796, marked as ‘urgent,’ along with some reference number. They’re quite insistent on extracting personal details, including one’s name and address. It's worth being wary of such practices!

I received a message from this number, but it’s now stating to get in touch with Mr Robert Parker. Just to clarify, we’re not affiliated with any fitness organisations apart from our local gym.

Received a message earlier today urging us to give David Shaw a bell. Oddly enough, we subscribed to LoveFilm a few years back but hardly ever used it, so there's absolutely no way we could owe anything. I think I'll just let it slide. I don't have the bandwidth to engage with them right now; they can drop us a line in writing if they really wish to communicate.

We’re David Shaw, residing in Basingstoke, and it’s become a right nuisance with strangers ringing us at all hours, demanding to know why we’re bombarding them with SMS messages. Honestly, we thought it might just be a prank but it’s getting on our nerves something chronic. We really want this other David Shaw, who apparently works in the automotive trade, to sort out his texting habits, as it is wreaking havoc on our lives. My partner even upped and left, taking the dog with her, convinced I’m up to no good. It’s utterly bewildering and we’re at our wit's end not knowing how to resolve this predicament.

Absolutely, we've been facing a rather similar issue with this David Shaw chap. It appears we have some sort of 'debt' with Tiscali, but the truth is we don’t owe them a penny. Strangely enough, the barrage of texts only kicked off right after we dropped Tiscali an email expressing our concerns about these relentless money demands. We even added our mobile number in the email, and, wouldn’t you know it, just two hours later, my phone starts buzzing with their messages. Quite the coincidence, isn’t it?

Indeed, this was indeed LoveFilm. I received a letter from them claiming that we hadn’t returned three DVDs, and now they're chasing us for £30. We actually cancelled our subscription over six weeks back and sent those DVDs back soon after. Quite frustrating, to say the least!

I just received a text from a David Shaw. Thought it best to do a little digging online first, and lo and behold, here I am! It's quite amusing how this popped up on my search engine when I looked up the area code alongside David Shaw's name! Just to clarify, we have no intention of reaching out to anyone.
