This week, every afternoon, I've been getting a recorded message on my answerphone from some automated voice talking about an "important message" for some bloke with the same number and a reference number they mentioned. I haven't got the slightest clue what they're on about and it all seems a bit dodgy to me - feels like a typical scam. Had a quick look on this site and now I’m just ignoring their calls. Most likely one of those debt collector tricks.

I'm living in central Scotland and just got a call from some woman sounding like a robot, saying I owe money with reference 2973940 and that I have to pay CARS over the phone immediately. They're totally dishonest and scammers. I've blocked the number. They're pestering me, but I reckon it could be risky if anyone actually answers them.

Received a call from C.A.R.S asking for a person who’s never lived at this address. I told the caller straight away that nobody by that name has lived here and they need to fix their info. I got a call today, 20th of Feb 2018, from this number claiming to be from CARF. They even gave me a reference to mention when I called back. I found out CARF stands for Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, which is a legit international non-profit. Shame these scumbags are using their name to trick people.
