Got a call from a bloke with a strong foreign accent, he knew my name and there was a lot of background noise like a call centre. Said he was ringing from Curry's Mobile. Yeah right? Before that, they used to say they were from Phone Warehouse, the place you see on telly pushing crazy good deals on phones and contracts - absolute scams if you ask me. I’ve told them loads of times to stop ringing and take my info off their list. I end up blocking tons of different numbers but they just keep switching them. Such annoying scammers and pests!

There was this guy with a really odd accent, sounded like Jakki Wakki or something, and he kept going on about some gold from Iraq he wanted to sell me.

They said it was about insulation to save on energy, but something felt off about the chat, so I just ended the call. Seems like they’re targeting folks worried about rising energy bills, hoping they'll jump at deals for insulation or something similar, and I reckon a lot could end up out of pocket because of it.

They spoke barely any English which made everything confusing. Was something about low-cost calls but when I tried to get proper answers he just kept repeating some script in a language I couldn’t make out. I tried to be nice and he even asked, “How are you today?” yet when I asked him stuff, he didn’t seem to get it at all. Definitely steer clear!!!

just had a call from what sounded like a sketchy call centre pushing some iphone offer. as soon as I said i wasnt interested, they cut me off straight away. wasnt even a chance to argue or anything, which makes it obvious it was some sort of scam. guess they moved on to bother the next poor soul on their list. these random calls are really starting to annoy me big time!
