I received a call the other day from a chap with a thick accent, who seemed to know my name - all the while, there was that classic call centre din in the background. He claimed to be ringing from Curry's Mobile. Really? Just last month, these blokes were pretending to be from Phone Warehouse, the outfit that’s always on the telly, promising mind-blowing deals on phones and contracts, which turned out to be nothing short of a con. I'm absolutely fed up with repeating myself to get them to cease their calls and delete my information. I block numerous numbers, yet they continually switch it up. What a bunch of nuisances and fraudsters!

They said it was about insulation to save on energy, but something felt off about the chat, so I just ended the call. Seems like they’re targeting folks worried about rising energy bills, hoping they'll jump at deals for insulation or something similar, and I reckon a lot could end up out of pocket because of it.

They spoke barely any English which made everything confusing. Was something about low-cost calls but when I tried to get proper answers he just kept repeating some script in a language I couldn’t make out.
