I received a rather alarming call from a woman with a strong foreign accent, claiming she was going to take legal action against me due to my National Insurance number being misused. What a load of balderdash! Complete scam, if you ask me!

A young lady rang me saying she was from a mobile network and was promoting a £40 monthly deal. I told her I wasn’t interested and ended the call straight away.

Got a recorded call saying I was gonna face legal trouble for NI fraud, said it was going to a magistrate unless I spoke to an officer. I hung up straight away. Then I started getting calls from a mobile, number 07443 886845, with exactly the same warning.
