i dealt with a few ppi firms before. sure, they can help you get your tax from ppi claims, but be ready to lose at least 40% to them. honestly, just sort it out yourself directly on the hmrc site and keep all the cash. you can block their call but they usually ring back from another number, often starting with 0161, so watch out for that.

whenever i get a call from a number i dont know, i usually pick up but stay quiet. almost always, after a second there’s a click and the call ends. if i catch people chatting in the background, i just hang up. if it’s a legit call, they’ll leave a voicemail.

No clue who was callin but I’ve gotten those PPI tax refund calls on different numbers before. btw, if you wanna get your tax back, look up Martin Lewis’s guide - it only took me like 40 minutes. You deal straight with HMRC, no dodgy charges involved!

Has anyone got info on this number 0125494637? I got a call from them sayin that PPI cases from before, like mine, are bein reviewed because people got paid but had tax taken off which they shouldn’t have. They asked me for my NI number to get the tax refunded. Not sure if this is legit or not.
