I'm so over these calls every single day! I signed up with the TPS about two months back, yet the calls keep coming just the same. I never pick up if I don’t recognise the number, and of course, they never bother to leave any message either. The police must have more important things on their plate than chasing after these fraudsters, but honestly, what else can we do? Just blocked them all now.

I got a call from a lady named Monica Green claiming she worked for a firm called "Goldworks." She said they were checking in about my pre-paid funeral plan. I told her straight away that I’m on the TPS list and that I’d be reporting their annoying calls. Right after, she promised she’d remove me from their records and assured me I wouldn’t get any more calls from them.

One of the biggest annoyances with call blocking is that many blocking apps only let you block a certain amount of numbers before they stop working properly. Scammers seem to bank on this, constantly switching up their numbers to get through. Honestly tho, reporting these dodgy calls straight to the police's fraud team makes more sense. At least then they get a proper log of all the calls happening. You can find the info to report below.

This bloke was really rude, kept going on about PPI and I could barely make out what he was saying. Kept asking me "when can I ring you back?" over and over, even though I told him I was just about to leave. Proper annoying!

Got a call first time but no one said anything, then they rang again a couple hours later about my PPI claim. I said that PPI claims stopped ages ago, but she argued it wasn’t over. I just ended the call after that.
