I discovered that they had an old record of my maiden name, which frankly I haven't gone by in yonks. Given the introduction of GDPR, I doubt their database has the right to contact me, so I've requested they take my number off their list. The chap on the other end wasn't exactly polite about it, either.

Got a call from UK housing in Blackburn, said they're linked to solicitors offering compensation for dodgy cavity wall insulation. Said there was no cost for a survey and supposedly the average payout was £40k, which sounded a bit daft to me. The bloke reckoned I had damp in a corner of my extension, blaming it on bad insulation job - but problem is, we’ve never had cavity wall insulation done at all. Sounds like a load of rubbish if you ask me.
