this number kept ringing on my home phone, about four times before i finally answered. i told the bloke it was supposed to be an unlisted number (which it isn’t, haha). he knew my full name and address and said he was checking if i really was unlisted. i called him out for being a nasty git. then the same number rang again, this time it was a woman. i asked her how she could treat people like this, haven’t they got any conscience? she just hung up. feels so bad for the folks fooled by these nasty scammers.

This phone number has rung my house four times today alone. I picked up on two occasions, and each time, they were looking for someone who hasn’t lived here for more than a decade and a half. When I declined to reveal my name, they just cut the call. Quite frustrating, really!

This past Saturday, during the Bank Holiday, I received four calls from this number. Thankfully, I've got BT Call Guardian set up to handle these persistent nuisances. One would assume that after several attempts, they'd realise they won't succeed in getting through, but the logic behind it eludes me. I’m also on the TPS register, which this caller purports to be affiliated with. I strongly recommend blocking this number to avoid further hassle.

I got a call from a guy with an Indian accent who said he was from TPS. He told me they were going to upgrade the service to cover international calls. Then, he asked for my cheque book info, but when I said the service was supposed to be free, he started yelling at me to pay attention. I just ended the call there.

First a lady from India called, then a bloke, claiming I’d get around 70 annoying calls after midnight if I didn’t pay for their “free” service. I noticed that this number has attempted to reach me four times on a Saturday, which just so happened to be a Bank Holiday. I've got BT Call Guardian set up, and it effectively blocks their calls. You'd assume they would have given up after two unsuccessful tries, but surprisingly, they continue to ring. Their claim? They say they’re from the TPS. How very peculiar!

this guy called claiming he was with the tps, mentioned my address, and said i pay by direct debit, then tried to get details about my debit card. i told him tps is free and ended the call. probably just looked up my address in a directory and guessed about the direct debit thing.

Got a call from 01254325182 earlier, sounded like a bloke with an Indian accent. He had my mum's name and address nailed down and was asking if she’s over 75 and if there’s a cheque book at home. Thankfully, the carer picked up and didn't mince words, telling him he was talking to someone from a phone blocking company! These kind of scammy people really wind me up. Proper lowlife scammers.
