I got a call from someone who said his name was Roy. He tried to convince me to pop down to my local bank and send £9,000 to this bloke called Andrei Manole, account number 33183521 at Barclays branch 20-27-26. Roy claimed it was all to help investigate dodgy behaviour by some bank workers and insisted my money was completely safe. When I asked where he was calling from, he suddenly cut me off. I made sure to tell my bank’s security team about the whole thing straight away.

After the call from 0141 582 4041 got disconnected, this number popped up and carried on with the phishing attempt. Totally dodgy.
