Got a call from some number for a electric company asking if I’d purchased any business property? Bit strange. Number was 01253 489730.

Got a call from 01253 489730, someone asking about number 24 on my road, claiming it was about gas and electric. I told them I live at number 12 and didn’t know anyone there. Then they mentioned "glorious creations," which happens to be my business name. They asked if it’s run from my house or a shop. Honestly, I have no idea who this is and found the whole thing a bit unsettling.

I tried to get their company registration number but no one could provide it. Then I asked to speak to a manager and every single person said they were the manager. When I asked if the call was being recorded, they said yes. As far as I know, it's against the law to record calls without telling you clearly at the start. Honestly, I wouldn't trust these people. Never give out your personal info on the phone to them.
