I've had calls from 01252 561081 before, this one said there was an issue with my old loft insulation. It's not the first time they've rang me about this.

Got a call from someone trying to push an alarm system, they even asked how old I was. I just ended the call. When I tried calling back the number, it said “number not recognised.” My number also begins with 01252, but this call was really clear. Feels like a classic phone spoofing scam to me.

Since I’m a bit hard of hearing, he was talking way too quick for me to catch what he was saying, so I just ended up hanging the phone up on him.

I got a call from someone named ‘Tom’ who claimed there was an issue with my loft insulation that was supposedly done through a government programme (which isn’t true at all). As soon as I asked him to identify himself properly, he just ended the call.
