Somebody rang me saying they were from Virgin Media offering a 40% discount on my bill. When I asked what the actual new amount would be, they just said it’d be 40% off the current bill. Then, as soon as I pressed for more details, they just ended the call. Complete con artists!

They asked for my name, which I found a bit odd since I purchased my phone there nearly a year and a half ago. I insisted that they should already have my details. When I pressed them to reveal their name, they repeated their request for my name, along with the same spiel. Quite amusingly, they decided to hang up after that. 🤣

I received a call from someone purporting to be from Carphone Warehouse, but the racket in the background was unbearable, making it next to impossible to understand what they were saying. I find it hard to believe that an authentic CW call centre would operate in such a shambolic manner.
