I’ve got a nagging feeling that this might be dodgy; it sounded like someone was trying to pose as an O2 representative. I can’t say for definite, though, as the caller was rather vague and hard to understand.

This creep is a total scammer! Don’t share any details with him! Claims to be from O2, sends you a message and tries to get you to read a code out loud. Talks with a thick Indian accent that’s really tricky to follow. Such a nasty bloke!

I received a call from a woman who was rather hard to decipher. She mentioned a location, but it completely escaped me, and I caught a snippet about some sort of prize. Then she inquired about the type of device I was using-presumably wanting to know if it was an iPhone or something similar. I simply informed her that I had recently acquired a new phone and expressed my disinterest in whatever she was offering. At that point, she ended the conversation abruptly.

This number showed up as possible scam. I didn't quite catch which company the guy said he was from. He mentioned some deals on mobile phones and asked what phone I own. I told him it didn't really matter since I wasn't interested and ended the call. I only picked up cos I know some folks around Aldershot and nearby, so the area code looked familiar.
