They claimed to be calling from 'Sike Solutions' and told me I needed to opt out of something. I didn't really catch the rest since I just ended the call straight away.

Some bloke rang me claiming to be Sophie from Carphone Warehouse, but I had me doubts. When I rang back the number, a bloke answered saying he was from something like Sike Solutions, or something along those lines, can't quite recall. He then transferred me to a customer service line with proper hold music, like a legit shop. Still not totally convinced, but I reckon it might be genuine. They did mention I could stop marketing calls after giving them a ring once, so maybe they’re just trying to promote stuff.

Looks like Carphone Warehouse is behind these calls. Maybe some annoyed worker shared phone numbers with some dodgy mates. I've had calls from their branches in Aldershot, Cardigan, London and Worcester all trying to sell an upgrade. They usually get through the initial chat but I quickly tell them to quit ringing me again.
