Utterly dreadful! I've been receiving unsolicited calls at all hours from individuals with questionable accents, likely from Pakistan or India, delivering highly inappropriate messages. It's absolutely infuriating!

Got calls like 4 times this week from some guy with an Indian accent working in a call centre. Kept asking me about a gov pension I supposedly have. I just cut the call every time.

Heads up! Got a call from someone claiming to be TalkTalk about my router acting up, then they started asking if my computer was connected. It felt dodgy so I just hung up. That number definitely wasn’t from TalkTalk - totally a scam!

Got a call from an Indian bloke claiming he worked for the UK government and was doing some kind of pension survey. I told him there’s no organisation like that linked to the government, and he started shouting something in what I think was Hindi, probably an insult. Then he rudely told me to ‘shut your w*** mouth’ before slamming the phone down. Lovely.

Got a call from a woman claiming to be with Microsoft. She kept going on, but I was just saying hello over and over. At one point, she told me to turn off my router! Total scammers and just a waste of time, honestly!

The moment I detected the chatter in the background and then an Asian voice chimed in, I promptly hung up. I’m relieved I did, especially after seeing what others have shared.

I got a call on 28th October at 1:13 PM. There was the distinct noise of an office in the background, but when I greeted them a few times, there was no reply at all, and they hung up. It seems like one of those test calls to check if the number is active. I can only imagine I’m in for a barrage of annoying calls now.

I picked up the call, but there was absolute silence on the other end. Rather than hanging on, I just put the phone down right away.

Received a rather peculiar call from a gentleman of Asian or possibly Pakistani descent. The name that flashed on my screen was quite unusual - something along the lines of "Worth a Wales." He inquired about my pension, and I informed him I'm not in possession of one. That’s when the conversation took a rather unexpected turn; he began commenting on my voice, claiming it was alluring, and it quickly spiraled into an uncomfortable exchange. After an outburst of expletives, he abruptly ended the call. Quite the odd encounter, I must say!

I got a call earlier and as soon as I picked up, I could hear what sounded like an office in the background. Then an Asian chap introduced himself as Osama bin Laden, having a bit of a chuckle. I couldn't help but respond with, "You're a right laugh, aren't you?" before I quickly ended the call.
