Got a call from this number claiming to be from TalkTalk, saying my computer had some warnings and errors. He wanted me to switch it on and verify a registration number he'd give me. I played along but never turned it on. Asked him which department he was from and he said London. I kept pressing for more details and his direct phone number. He said the internet department in London. I kept firing questions and honestly, it was quite entertaining! He gave the name Harry Dawson (with an Indian accent, so I doubted that). When I asked him to spell it, he hesitated. Eventually, I just told him I'd ring TalkTalk myself and ended the call.
