3 yearsThey kept ringing trying to find my grandad, even tho he’s been gone for 12 years now. I told them to take my number off their list and not to bother me again, but they had already called a few times before. Quite annoying really.3 yearsThey rang me again about some TV and electrical stuff, this was the second time in two days. I asked to speak to my wife but was told she wasn’t available, then they just ended the call. The person on the other end didn’t seem to speak great English either.3 yearsI received a rather dubious call today from this number, claiming to represent Appliance Aid. They insisted my wife had taken out some sort of insurance for a television about three years ago and that we now owe over £300. They hinted at a reduced payment option, which raised my suspicions. When I informed them that we had never signed up for such coverage, they rattled off the last four digits of a Visa card, but I quickly clarified it was not associated with us. Undeterred, they stated they would still be attempting to withdraw the amount. I wished them luck with that, and when I told them to cancel whatever they'd initiated, they tried to impose an £80 cancellation fee. I told them to shove that nonsense and then they cut the line. Pure cheek!Appliance Aid3 yearsGot a call saying my last payment was overdue for some extended warranty on my TVs. They wanted me to give my card info right away, so I just ended the call. I don't have any third-party TV warranty at all, figured it was a dodgy scam. Watch out - they’re clearly after your card details, maybe to share or sell them on.3 yearsInsistent on receiving the last payment. They inquired about my late husband, who passed away eight years ago.3 yearsOnce again, they didn't leave a message. I've just given up picking up calls from numbers I don't know.3 yearsJust received a dodgy phone call! They were insisting on charging me £79 for some sort of extended warranty on my television. Total scam, I reckon!3 yearsMy landline rang and when I picked up, there was silence on the other end.
