Got a call from someone claiming to be from BT Openreach saying my computer had a virus. I played along and kept them chatting for about 25 minutes just to annoy them. When they figured out I wasn’t falling for it, he started swearing at me. Typical scam!

Got a bloke with an Asian accent on the phone, said he was from tech support about my internet. I told him to bugger off since he’d rang me before about the same thing. Mentioned the cash point was shut as well. He wasn’t happy and told me to f*** off back!

Got a call from a bloke claiming to be from Openreach saying there were problems with their server. He was an Asian guy and started off saying they had errors to sort out. But when I asked why he was ringing me about their server issues, he quickly switched and said the problem was actually from my server instead.

got a call from someone in India. i played along for like 20 mins, they were tryin to get me to let them hack my pc and help them out. yeah right, not gonna happen. they said they worked for Virgin Media but then kinda slipped up and messed up their story later on. ended up annoying them on purpose. job done.

Got a call from someone saying they were with Virgin, checking if our internet was working alright since apparently others nearby had trouble. When I said I was just using my phone to check, he asked if I could try on a laptop. I said no and then he just ended the call. Pretty sure he wasn’t actually from Virgin.

BT scam, told them they seriously need more training since they rang me twice yesterday and once today. I said if you're gonna try a scam, you should at least keep track of who you call, no point phoning the same number and getting the same abuse each time. Also, don't bother using a local area code because BT doesn’t use them. The caller wasn't pleased when I said they weren't very good at their job and didn’t seem to know much about running a proper scam. Totally unacceptable behaviour, especially when he ended up swearing at me.

this guy claimed he was from open reach and told me my internet was at risk. i told him i dont even use open reach so why was he calling? he started shouting, telling me to google open reach coz they handle all internet connections! that actually made me chuckle but i’m worried some folks might believe it! he also said he’d cut off my wifi but its still working fine.
