Received a call from a number I didn't recognise and never asked to be contacted by. Blocked straight away and reported them as scam.

I had a really tough time understanding the Indian accent on the other end. They said something like, "Hi, I’m Tom from..." then suddenly asked, "Why are you laughing?" It was pretty confusing. Out of nowhere, the person just cut the call, then blocked me and got reported through my phone’s Android caller app. Strange experience!

Got a call out of the blue from some sales person pushing web hosting services for the internet. Seemed like one of those cold calls trying to get me to buy something I don’t really need.
