I got a call from this number earlier. I picked up and could hear loads of people chatting and giggling away in the background, but no one actually said anything to me. Seems pretty pointless and silly if you ask me.

Somebody called me but only after hearing my voicemail say I don't pick up calls from hidden or unknown numbers. They just muttered something I couldn’t make out and then hung up, not leaving any proper message. I’m on the TPS list to avoid these sales calls, but seems like they couldn’t care less about that, and honestly TPS doesn’t do much to stop them.

They claimed to be from "Vita homes" and mentioned our solar panels. We're on the TPS and have never had any contact with them. Looks like this number is used by loads of different "companies," all with similar flimsy reasons for ignoring the TPS register. Honestly, I wish the government would just ban all cold calls, but these firms always seem to find a way to wiggle out.

Got a call from some bloke named Phil from Vita, chatting about energy deals and saving cash. He said our number came from BDM Buffalo on 01473 833665. Proper rude guy that Phil. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now. Wish I’d had something to blow at him, felt really pressured and annoyed by the whole thing.

Just got a call from Vita and accepted their voucher deal. A very polite guy came over to explain their products, especially the thermodynamic hot water system which is brilliant! Honestly, I’m really pleased with what I bought. Would definitely suggest giving them a go!

Got a call out of the blue about getting vouchers to cut down energy bills. Told the bloke I wasn’t interested, and he said “you’re not keen on saving money then?” I said if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is a scam. Then he just hung up. Number’s blocked now.

Smarter Homes phoned me and asked for me by my name. I asked if I had requested the call, but he just ignored that and asked if I was the homeowner. I asked again, and got the same reply. On the third try, I told him I was on the TPS. His response was something like, "Oh, are you? In that case I can..." Then I told him I’d be reporting the call.

Some bloke rang me saying he was from Enviro about my heating. He claimed they’re now serving my area and could give me a discount (yeah right, heard that one loads of times!!). I asked what address they had for me and he gave my old one, from 2005! (Since then I put my new number ex-directory). This is like the second or third time they’ve called. They rang me up saying I’d won some kind of device that’d cut my heating expenses by 30% yearly. I told them my husband handles all that stuff. Then I mentioned he was out at work and they promised to ring back. Sure enough, they called two more times in the space of 30 minutes. After that, I just stopped picking up.

I got a call earlier from someone named Jessie at RIGHT TO IMPROVE, and they were asking for my dad. I had to tell them he’s been gone for 8 years, so good luck trying to reach him! Like a few others have said, the bloke who rang was really talkative and said he was from a firm called Envio. He started asking about my electric and gas bills and offered a voucher, but when I asked, he quickly made clear I wouldn’t have to switch suppliers. He mentioned they’d been busy around here and even quoted the start of my postcode. When I asked more about the voucher and how you get it, he said he had everything he needed but would check if I qualified and then someone else would ring me. To stop any further calls, I’m just gonna block the number.

Spoke to some “robert green” from enviro - only gave his name after i pressed him a bit to say who he was and which company he was with before id give my details. after i ended the call, he rang back almost straight away, making rude comments about folks who hang up. could hear office sounds in the background like others mentioned, and he sounded way more pushy than a usual cold call.

They keep phoning about energy vouchers, saying someone will call back and asking me to stay open to their offer. I’m really poorly just now and told them not to bother calling, but they still ring one or two times daily. Today I accidentally answered and even after explaining I’m not well and asked them to stop, they said they'd call back and wished me well. Before I could tell them not to, the line went dead. Then the first person called again asking about what the manager had said. I had to say I’m too unwell to chat and to stop ringing. From what I’ve seen on this site, I’ll keep an eye on the numbers that pop up.

Got a call from a man asking for my husband, then he started going on about some £50 voucher and wanted to know about our energy provider and his age bracket. Roughly 90 minutes later, a woman rang up, again asking for my husband. I told her he wasn’t available and offered to help, she mentioned he’d already spoken to her colleague. When I asked if it was about that £50 voucher, she said it was something to do with Channel 5 and our energy supply. I asked when he might be back for her to call again and said around 4 pm, even though he was actually right there in the room! We thought it was dodgy, maybe a scam or just nuisance calls. Seeing what others have said about this number, I’m just gonna let the answering machine deal with it from now on. If they ring again and we pick up, I’ll just say they’ve got the wrong number. Seriously, how do these lot keep getting away with pestering people like this?

I received a call that abruptly ended before they said anything. Naturally, I tried reaching out to see who was ringing me. However, the representative on the other end refused to provide any information and hung up on me. She revealed only that the purpose of the call was related to energy efficiency sales, but wouldn’t disclose the name of the company. At one point, she seemed unsure of which firm she was representing! I mentioned being registered with the TPS (Telephone Preference Service), and she nonsensically claimed my number might have been misdialled, to which I replied, "But how can it be misdialled every single day this week?" Got a call, but they just hung up straight away. So I rang back to see who it was, but the person on the line refused to say and ended the call. I tried again and spoke to a girl with a strong Essex accent, which fits with the Woodham Ferrers, Chelmsford area code. She only admitted the call was about selling energy-saving stuff but wouldn’t share the company name. At one point, she even claimed she didn’t know the company she worked for. I told her I’m registered with the TPS, and she suggested maybe they dialled the wrong number - to which I said, “wrong number every day for the last week?” Really hope these lot get fined and shut down soon.
