Why do folks bother posting "stop calling me" here? 1. They usually don’t (and really shouldn’t) share their own phone number. 2. The people ringing them probably won’t even see the message. 3. And even if by some chance they did see it, they wouldn’t pay any attention since they don’t have the other person’s number anyway!

Dodgy call, they claimed to be from Aviva, Royal London and a few others. Turns out its just a trick to get you to switch to a cheaper life insurance but with lower coverage. Total scam!

Got a call from an Indian woman claiming to review my life insurance. She mentioned Aviva, Royal London, Legal & General, LV, but when I asked which company she actually worked for, she wouldn’t say. When I didn’t give her my name, she just hung up. I rang back and a man with a foreign accent answered, saying he was from the Life Insurance Review Department and insisted I needed an annual check. When I tried to explain, he started shouting at me for being rude. Turns out he was calling from South Africa, even though the number showed Chester.

Got a call from someone pretending to do a "review" on life insurance - ended up just hanging up and blocked their number straight away.

They call themselves the life review team. They’re going round trying to get new clients. Problem is, they’re offering smaller cover by cutting down the terms. Basically, they’re giving quotes with less protection, less coverage, and shorter durations. This could be risky ‘cause it leaves people not properly covered. Best to chat to a real adviser. This number rang me earlier and when I picked up saying "Hello" nicely, there was silence. Since I was at work, I figured I'd return the call just to be courteous, did it 4 times actually.
