I've had loads of calls from this number and decided to humour them by replying to the recorded voice's questions. Then I got a proper call back from someone called "Jordan" at Lapolla Insulation Products, who got pretty annoyed when I said I wasn't interested in loft insulation. These people are pushing sprayed under-roof insulation that's not always suitable or needed for every type of home roof - like they say it is. They also warn that skipping it could harm your roof, but in loads of cases, applying it actually ends up causing damage (and it's a nightmare to get rid of!) They can't be trusted, just more dodgy traders looking for a fast buck, taking advantage of everyday folks. STAY WELL CLEAR!!!

When I mentioned I'd already spoken to him recently, he denied it. As he kept going through his spiel, I told him again that he’d been calling repeatedly and had even hung up on me once. Somebody calling as “your neighbourhood energy provider” rang me up about putting insulation in the loft. I was feeling quite cheery so I listened for a bit but soon figured out it was a scam and definitely not a proper firm. I tried to say nicely I wasn’t keen and then they just cut the call off.

Reading through the previous posts, I guess I got off easy since it was just one of those quiet calls with no one speaking.

Got a call from someone saying they were following up about a boiler inspection nearby. Told Sam?? that I handle my own boiler servicing and never asked for a callback. Ended up blocking his number. Lately, I've been getting calls from private numbers too, but we just don’t pick up.

Got a call on my home phone from a Chester number - some bloke called Alex claiming to be from a home energy upgrade company, sounded like a spam call. I told him I’m on the TPS and he should take me off their list, and he quickly ended the call as soon as I mentioned TPS.
