Not sure who they were, but I stayed careful and kept saying 'Hello' over and over. Eventually, they gave up after repeating my name a few times. What a pain, the woman who rang had an accent from abroad, and from the sound of her voice, I'd guess she was tiny, like 5 foot something and about 8 stone. All these dodgy calls make me wanna just hide away and live alone like a recluse. Ahh, sweet silence.

The person on the phone knew my name and claimed they were calling to ‘check over my policy’. I told them I’d already had loads of calls like this and asked to be taken off their list. They replied ‘no, that’s not possible’! Even though the number looks like it’s from Chester, I’m pretty sure it’s actually an overseas call centre. If anyone gets drawn into a proper chat with them, it seems like a sure way to get scammed.
