So yesterday I saw a blocked number pop up from 01244257087, and then today another call came through from 01244257088. I’ve blocked this one as well. Looks like OFTEL or some authority might have stepped in to tackle these persistent cold callers using several lines.

Received a call and picked up, they somehow already knew my name. They asked if I had any building work that could get me a grant or something?? I told them I wasn’t interested and ended the call. Not more than a few seconds later, another call came from a number nearly the same just one digit off, a lady this time saying the exact same thing. These must be dodgy scammers, definitely blocking those numbers.
