Has anyone got a clue whose number this might be? They didn't leave any message, and we haven't the foggiest who it belongs to. There are no remarks left behind either.

I just received a call from the number 01243885974. The caller claimed to represent BT and mentioned that I had apparently flagged some annoying calls from other firms. Ironically, he was yet another unwanted call himself! To set the record straight, I haven’t reported anything of the sort. I did tell him that I wasn’t receiving any calls anymore - though I really ought to have added, except for this one! His response was a polite 'thank you' before he promptly ended the call. Such a peculiar situation!

I received a rather intrusive call from this number and found the person on the other end to be quite boorish when I pointed out that their call was unwelcome. When I mentioned I was in the middle of my dinner (I mean, who eats late at 6.40 in the evening?), he queried why I was being so unfriendly. I told him I didn't have the time for such nonsense either, and promptly hung up. Not long after, he called again, and when my husband picked up without uttering a word, the caller obnoxiously remarked, 'voulez-vous coucher avec moi.' After a couple more silent attempts to reach us, we decided to call 1471 to trace the number.
