They kept ringing me six times claiming to be from the telephone preference service. I said no repeatedly, but they just didn’t stop. Even when I got a bit rude back, they carried on ringing. So annoying!

Earlier today, I had a rather curious phone call from a chap using this number. He seemed to be probing about some pesky unsolicited calls I've been receiving. The gentleman proposed that I might fancy a box that could be hooked up to my phone line to keep those bothersome calls at bay. I must admit, I was somewhat hesitant to say yes, especially since I hadn't mentioned this issue to British Telecom, my service provider, at all.
