Got fed up with him and told him it’s none of his business. Then he called me a name, and as I was chuckling, he just hung up on me.

Got a dodgy call from someone with a fake English name asking me to verify my postcode and full name. I wasn’t having it and pushed back, but they kept dodging my questions and pressing for my info. They claimed to be calling from Central London and, bizarrely, said I owned a Samsung washing machine - totally made up. Definitely sounded like an Asian accent and felt like a phishing attempt just to confirm personal details. I called the number back, but it went to an answerphone from TalkTalk saying calls are monitored and they wanted my info. Hung up and blocked the number straight away.
