I picked up, there was a really long silence, and then they just ended the call.

My phone rang and when I picked up, there was just silence! Definitely not gonna pick up if they bother calling back.

This number called me today, as usual I didn’t pick up cos I dont really take calls from numbers I’m not familiar with. But right after, I got a message saying I’d missed a call from an 020 number instead! Looks like they’re spoofing their number or something. I blocked both this one and 02076493050 after looking that one up. Guess what? Same company! Total scam!

Got a ring from this number a moment ago, all about PPI stuff. I nicely said I’d already sorted my PPI claim, and he asked who I’d used. I told him it was with a trusted firm, not some dodgy phone scam. Then I said my number’s on the TPS list, that the call was being recorded, and I'd be reporting them for illegal cold calling. Hung up after that. He had a South African accent and went by Andrew.
