Got a call from a bloke who started saying he was from Scottish Power and could help me save cash on my electric bill. But when I asked some questions, he started naming other energy companies too and it became obvious he wasn’t actually with Scottish Power at all. Plus, he didn’t seem bothered about the fact that changing providers might mean breaking my current contract and having to pay fees. Bit dodgy if you ask me.
