What a complete and utter sham of a phone call! Honestly, those call centre chaps deserve a good talking to, or maybe something a bit more drastic!

The phone rang a mere seven times before they hung up. I wasn't quick enough to answer, and they didn’t bother leaving a voicemail. This number seems unfamiliar to me.

Received a call from someone with a thick accent, claiming to be taking a meter reading for a community centre in our village that ceased operations back in January 1974! I quickly informed them that their call was nothing more than a scam and wasted no time in blocking the number.

Be wary, this number is dodgy! They’ll try to contact the gas account holder. My advice? Just tell them they’ve dialled the wrong number and then go ahead and block them on your device. Stay safe!
