Since I don’t have any acquaintances from that neck of the woods, I’m led to believe it’s likely a scam, so I opted not to pick up. They didn't bother leaving a voicemail either.

I have a call rejection feature on my phone, so I just hit that option repeatedly until she finally gave up. It felt like harassment, and quite frankly, it was a right annoyance.
